Some cute finds resuced by some brave local bottle dump diggers!
 
As soon as I spotted these antique mini poison bottles I knew they'd be perfect for storing a few precious pins or needles. 
 
Back in the early 1900s these clear phial shape bottles were used to hold a tincture of iodine manufactured in Liverpool - hence the reason they are embossed with the word 'POISONOUS', to protect people from accidentally swallowing the contents. 
 
Each one has been thoroughly cleaned and been given a brand new cork stopper, ready to be used once more for a slightly different use. 
 
These are all in good condition with no chips or cracks, although please expect the odd mark or two from decades of lying underground. 
 
They feature a 6 sided shaped base and some have a ribbed sided finish.
 
The clear glass reflects the light beautifully; almost like cut glass.
 
Each bottle will be supplied with 10 colourful glass head steel pins still produced today on the original machines still in operation at the BOHIN factory in Normany, France using authentic glass from the Italian island of Murano.

75mm/3" (length) x 22mm/0.86" (diameter at base) x 8mm/0.3" (bottle neck opening).
All sizes are approximate as these bottles vary slightly in size and shape.
