These gorgeous hand-painted darning eggs are the perfect tool for essential repairs to kids socks, as well as worn out knees & elbows on their tops and trousers too!
 
To darn simply pop the egg under the hole and wrap an elastic band around the egg to hold the fabric in place.
 
The rounded surface helps you preserve the original shape of the garment and the smaller size ensures you can fix a hole or well-worn areas without stretching the fabric out too much.
 
Each egg is hand decorated with the most beautiful flora and fauna designs including angelic butterflies and charming green parrots.
 
All of them are carefully sourced by us from vintage markets and have 'character' e.g. minor chips, surface scratches, dents, tiny holes and marks, from previous use.
